KidsID

REPORT OF THE KIDSID PROGRAM

We have finally managed to move forward passed the last two years of the pandemic; KidsID is up and running. Once again, your lodges can resume helping our community and protect our most valuable resource, its children. Even though we have completed only four events since the restart, spring and summer are just around the corner.

I want to take this moment to remind you of what your lodge needs to do to prepare for an event. First, and most importantly, you need to get on the KidsID calendar. We have a limited amount of equipment, and it is first come, first serve. You need only five to six people to run your event. They can be brothers from your lodge, another lodge, honor students, Jobbies, spouses, and friends. Prior to the event I will give you a refresher. There are a number of activities you can pair with a KidsID event. Some examples include pancake breakfast, parent teacher conference, and county fair. Just remember, the parent must accompany their child.

As I have mention before, we have updated the program and are now using thumb drives rather than CDs. The lodge will be billed $5.00 per child.

Now is the time to sign-up. I encourage you to call me if you have any questions or concerns.

Respectfully submitted,

John L. Cook Jr., PGM
KidsID State Coordinator
