SUMMARY:Annual Lynnhurst Turkey Dinner
DESCRIPTION:This is traditionally the first major gathering to honor the incoming Grand Master and give him an opportunity to introduce his Grand Line of Officers and explain his agenda for the upcoming year. After an hour or so of fellowship\, the Head Table is piped in\, followed by Grand Lodge Officers. After the Blessing\, the birds are brought out\, one per table\, with a designated carver at each. Each Table is responsible for bringing their own carving equipment!! The Potentate from the hosting Shrine Temple traditionally carves at the Head Table. The Lost Spur makes sure all tables are supplied with potatoes\, gravy\, beans (green\, of course)\, coleslaw\, dressing\, rolls\, etc. 8 Master Masons per table\, $256. This is an event for Master Masons only. Your check is your reservation.

DESCRIPTION:The 2024 One-Day-to-Masonry is scheduled to be held on January 20\, 2024\, at the Minneapolis Scottish Rite. \nAs with past One-Day-to-Masonry events\, this one will include a continental breakfast and a hearty lunch. All three degrees will be portrayed in full form. Brothers attending on the sidelines will enjoy the degree work every bit as much as the candidates will. \nThe total cost for candidates (not including lodge dues) is $250. This fee includes all degree fees and assessments\, white leather apron\, ritual cipher\, Minnesota Masonic Manual\, meals for the candidate\, and other items. \nAll Master Masons are invited and encouraged to attend. If a Brother just wants to stop in to witness some of the degree work\, no reservation is required; but if the Brother plans on staying for lunch\, a ticket is required. Lunch tickets are $20 and advanced registration is required. The only tickets available for purchase the day of the event will be last minute cancellations\, so please purchase your lunch tickets in advance. \nTHE DEADLINE FOR CANDIDATE REGISTRATIONS AND PURCHASING MEAL TICKETS IS WEDNESDAY\, JANUARY 10TH. \nFirst-line signers are asked to have the candidate complete a regular petition for the degrees. That petition must be sent to the local Lodge along with the required fee and a request to attend this One-Day-to-Masonry event.
